Apple has made significant progress in increasing its footprint in India with the recent launch of its first official online shop in Mumbai and a second one in Delhi. As part of this development, the company has been actively hiring people to work at its retail locations across the country. These workers are a diverse group, including individuals with backgrounds in MBA and BTech. Compensation packages vary depending on the role.
According to reports, Apple Store employees in India start with a monthly salary package of Rs 1 lakh. These employees come from diverse educational backgrounds, including those with master’s degrees in information technology and MBAs, as well as those with bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, packaging, robotics, and automation engineering.
For its retail outlets in India, Apple is now seeking for the jobs of Business Expert, Creative, Technical Specialist, Operations Expert, Genius, and Business Pro. The majority of these positions call for proficiency in the regional tongue, strong oral and writing communication abilities, and a flexible work schedule.
Apple places a high priority on the well-being and career advancement of its retail employees, as reflected on the Careers at Apple India page. Apple has hired over 170 highly skilled team members to manage its two retail stores in India, namely Apple BKC and Apple Saket. These individuals come from more than 15 different Indian states and collectively speak over 15 distinct Indian languages.
The Apple Saket store has hired over 70 retail team members from 18 different Indian states who collectively speak more than 15 languages. Meanwhile, the Apple BKC store has a crew of over 100 personnel who can speak a total of 20 distinct languages.
