A Drunk Man Urinates On Woman On Air India Flight

0

Air India has filed a police report in connection with the incident, which occurred on November 26 on the flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Delhi.

New Delhi: Air India said on Wednesday that it has taken a “very serious view” of the incident in November last year in which a drunk man allegedly urinated on a female passenger on a New York-Delhi flight. According to the airline, a police report has already been filed, and as a first step, the passenger in question has been barred from flying for 30 days. Air India also stated that an internal committee has been formed to investigate lapses on the part of the airline’s crew and “address the deficiencies that delayed quick redressal of the situation.”

The incident came to light after the Times of India published a letter from the woman to Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran in which she described her terrifying flight experience. According to the woman, the drunk man walked to her seat, unzipped his pants, and urinated. The man continued to expose his private parts after urinating and only moved when other passengers asked him to leave. The woman’s clothes, shoes, and bag were soaked in urine, so the crew changed her clothes and placed sheets on her urine-soaked seat.

Despite her alerting the cabin crew, she claims the passenger walked away unscathed after the flight landed in Delhi.

“A police complaint has already been filed, and Air India is committed to assisting law enforcement and regulatory authorities,” the airline said.

“Air India allegedly shared basic details of the incident with police on December 28, after which police attempted to contact the woman, but she said she had given her complaint to Air India, which should be used as her original complaint,” the officer added.

CBSE Date Sheet 2023 Updates: Class 10, 12 board exams to start from February 15

0

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams. Exams for both classes begin on February 15.

While students in Class 10 will take their final exam on March 21, those in Class 12 will finish on April 5.

According to the CBSE notice, the datasheet was created by avoiding nearly 40,000 subject combinations in order to ensure that no two subject combinations fall on the same date.

Annapurna Devi, the Minister of State for Education, told the Lok Sabha earlier this month that at least 40% of questions in the CBSE Class 10 exam and 30% in the Class 12 exam in 2023 will be competency-based.
