The cumulative number of corona virus infections in India increased by 163, bringing the total to 4.46 crore (4.46,76,678), according to figures updated on Friday by the Union Health Minister. The number of active cases in the nation decreased to 3,380, or 0.01% of all infections. In the past 24 hours, there has been a drop of 22 patients in the active Covid-19 caseload.
According to official data, the country’s Covid-19 recovery rate has risen to 98.80%.
The current death toll is 5,30,690, including nine deaths. The data updated at 8 am showed that while Kerala resolved six deaths, two deaths in Maharashtra and one in Delhi were reported on the previous day.
4,41,42,608 persons have recovered from the illness, and the case fatality rate has been reported at 1.19 percent.
On the country as a whole, 220.03 crore doses of the Covid vaccine have been administered, according to the ministry’s website.
