The University of Delhi (DU) will release the second seat allocation list for undergraduate admissions 2023 today, August 10, 2023. The list will be available on the DU website, admission.uod.ac.in.
Candidates who have applied for DU admissions can check their allotment status on the website. Those who are provisionally allotted seats in the second list will have to accept the seat allocation through the portal and make the admission fee payment by August 15, 2023.
The first seat allocation list for DU admissions 2023 was released on August 1, 2023. A total of 85,853 students were provisionally allotted seats in the first round.
The second seat allocation list is expected to fill up the remaining seats in DU colleges. According to DU officials, around 15,000 seats are still vacant in DU colleges.
Candidates who are not allotted seats in the second list can participate in the third round of counselling, which will begin on August 17, 2023.
The third round of counselling will be conducted online. Candidates will be able to choose their preferred colleges and courses. The seat allotment will be based on the merit of the candidates and the availability of seats in the colleges.
The last round of counselling for DU admissions 2023 will be conducted in September 2023.
