The Delhi University (DU) has announced that it will hold three rounds of counselling for admissions to its BTech courses this year. The first round of counselling will be held on August 2, the second round on August 9, and the third round on August 16.
The first round of counselling will be based on the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores of the candidates. The second and third rounds of counselling will be based on the CUET scores and the choices made by the candidates in the previous rounds.
Candidates who are not satisfied with their seat allotment in the first round can participate in the second and third rounds of counselling. However, they will have to pay a fee to participate in the subsequent rounds.
The DU has said that it will release the list of vacant seats after each round of counselling. Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in the first two rounds can still participate in the third round of counselling if there are vacant seats.
The last date for submission of the online application form for BTech admissions is July 26. The registration process for the counselling will begin on July 28.
The DU offers BTech programmes in a variety of disciplines, including computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. The university has 10 colleges that offer BTech programmes.
