As of April 4th, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has commenced registration for the upcoming academic year’s undergraduate engineering and technology programs. Prospective students interested in gaining admission to these programs can submit their applications for the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) through jkbopee.gov.in. The application form submission deadline is set for April 24th, providing students with ample time to apply.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) will announce the date of the entrance test separately from the registration process. The entrance exam will be conducted offline at designated centres in Jammu and Srinagar as determined by the JKBOPEE. Students are advised to keep an eye out for further updates regarding the exam date and location.
In order to be eligible for the Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET), students must have successfully completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects. A minimum score of 45% is required for open merit category candidates, in accordance with the regulations set forth by the AICTE. For students belonging to SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP categories, a minimum of 40% marks is compulsory. Candidates are advised to ensure they meet these eligibility requirements before applying for the JKCET.
