UP Weather: The temperature is dropping in nearby cities, including Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA) has issued a warning that winter will continue in Kanpur and surrounding UP cities for the next 5 days.
Orange and yellow alert for dense fog has been issued in 59 districts of Uttar Pradesh.There is a cold day warning in 29 districts, including Lucknow and Kanpur. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning in about 15 districts. In such a case, the winter will become even harsher. According to the department, a cold wave will continue in some areas for the next five days, along with dense fog.
The harsh winter has thrown normal life out of whack. People are forced to stay indoors due to the extreme cold. At the same time, due to the harsh winter in many districts, school schedules have been adjusted. After January 2 and 3, a cold wave is expected to hit most of the northern plains, including Delhi and Kanpur division.
